Electrical Contracting Training

Developments in the electrical contracting industry has led to an increasing number of electricians and apprentices becoming contractors, often without experience or training in the crucial areas of :

  • How to manage, projects, labour and materials.
  • Site Supervision.
  • How to price and estimate work.
  • How and where to claim for work done.
  • The payment chain.

Although, the new contractor may be a competent and technically proficient electrician, it is often the case that the lack of experience or training in these areas can produce significant obstacles and harsh living conditions for the contractor.

There is currently a lack of formal training in the abovementioned areas. Epcams has realised the need to provide training to address these challenges. We have compiled a program of 10 training modules (detailed below) specific to the challenges facing electrical contractors.
Each module is available as in house training for individual firms & companies. The training modules will also be available, for presentation to interested groups of electrical contractors at venues throughout the country, later this year. Contact us to book!
